Commercial and Procurement Manager

My Client was founded in 2014, with its headquarters in Paris. Their main business includes the development, investment, construction, operation and maintenance of wind power, solar energy and other renewable energy projects, with assets spread across France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Senegal. To date, its total investment in Europe and Africa has exceeded 3 billion euros ($3.3 billion), while its total installed capacity now reaches 2.4GW.
We want candidates with a background in engineering and experience in the green renewable industry. As Commercial Manager, you will have commercial responsibility for each assigned contract. For all pre- and post-contract commercial difficulties associated with a renewable energy project contract.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for the wind farm construction/operation, such as RFP drafting and Negotiation
- Manage the contract execution for the wind farm project, such as Payment Management, Variation Management, Disputation management, Claim Management and Suspension/Termination Management
- Manage the responsible procurements/contracts records and reports for management use
- Ensuring all entrusted procurement activities are implemented under related commercial procedures or company governance
- Manage and evaluate entrusted procurement performance to identify cost-saving/performance improvement opportunities, propose related proposals, and implement them based on those evaluations
- Manage the procurement related polices/templates modification/update
- Provide support and Coordinate with colleagues in other departments to complete the procurement/contract related tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree;
- Fluency in verbal and written English is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years procurement management experiences in Wind Farm PPA/Construction/Operation, such as O&M contract, facility management related agreements, insurance, lease and so on
- Highly developed commercial skills and demonstrable ability to make sound decisions on matters of significant financial value
- Good understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management
- Excellent knowledges of suppliers in new energy area, such as wind power and solar power
- Similar experiences in solar power project and insurance claims experience are plus point
- Good communication and writing skills (especially in a multicultural environment)
- Self-motivated, driven, Proactive, well organised, able to work individually as well as within a multi-cultural team
