You will work closely with fellow software engineers as well as firmware, electronics, mechanical and mechatronic engineers. Our team culture can be described as creative, problem solving and fun. With us you will get to work with; 

  • C/C++ development on embedded systems, like ARM Cortex platforms
  • Embedded Linux systems (POSIX, multithreading) and frameworks like Qt, Boost
  • Communication interfaces (CANopen, TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Mobile)
  • Defining and using API for Cloud and IoT communication
  • Building frameworks, like Yocto
  • Code optimization and tinkering


We are looking for experienced software engineers to join our advanced patient simulator team, which serves all our Laerdal simulators (IoT devices). Our simulations can breathe, blink, move, talk, deliver babies, and more. Yes, deliver babies too, and we'd like you to help us take our simulators even further in mimicking human behaviour and physiological responses.


The ideal candidate will have: 

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in software or computer science
  • Min. 5 years experience in related field
  • Knowledge of test-driven development, automated testing and regression testing
  • Good oral and written English communication skills and a desire to share knowledge, as well as collaborate with other
