Role Overview:
As the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor, you'll be the main point of contact for HSE matters, ensuring compliance and safety across operations. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage audits, and oversee incident investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
General:
- Manage day-to-day HSE activities in Stavanger and Trondheim.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and report on HSE performance.
- Support integration of HSE into new work bids and identify training needs.
- Assist in developing annual local HSE plans and budgets.
HSE:
- Lead audits and investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and implementation of lessons learned.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs.
- Manage PPE inventory and communicate HSE standards effectively.
Quality:
- Manage Non-Conformances and encourage continuous improvement.
- Support external audits for ISO compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Business Ethics Policy and relevant procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HSE, preferably in the O&G industry.
- Proficiency in Norwegian and English.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and incident investigations.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Oil & Gas sector and leading audits.
- Ability to deliver HSE training and handle Chemical Safety Data Sheets.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
