Process engineer ready for the new challenges?

We are on the lookout for our next Process Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate within the PDE organization, ensuring all relevant work, both internal and external, related to the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) meets regulatory requirements, contract specifications, and industry standards. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory plans, providing guidance on scope definition, and reviewing and approving process-related documents prepared by contractors.


Accountabilities:

  • Ensure activities within the discipline adhere to company frameworks, contract requirements, Project Execution Plan, and regulatory laws.

  • Collaborate with PDE operations team and clients to provide clear guidance on scope definition.

  • Work with Regulatory Compliance & Verification Lead and Contractors to define and execute compliance and verification activities.

  • Review and comment on process discipline documents prepared by Contractors, including IDC comments verification and approval.

  • Prepare process technical philosophies, specifications, and drawings to define scope of work.

  • Participate in work pack review sessions and ensure completeness of contractor-prepared work packs.

  • Review Certifying Authority comments on process system design and assist in issue resolution.

  • Participate in safety studies such as design reviews, HAZID's, and HAZOP's.

  • Ensure closeout of HAZOP recommendations and report any delays or failures to the Process Lead, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Participate in meetings, inspections, and close assigned Technical Queries (TQ) and other Action Tracker items.

  • Collaborate with other disciplines in the EPC Management Team and call off assistance from discipline resources as needed.

  • Perform other duties as required by the Process Lead.

 

Qualification Requirements

  • Technical education at Masters level or higher in Chemical and/or Process Engineering.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within Process engineering discipline.

  • Recent experience in modification projects and/or FPSO redeployment is strongly desired.

  • Recent experience in a similar role on UK North Sea projects is advantageous.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, diplomacy, and assertiveness skills.

  • Organized, systematic, and flexible approach to work.

  • Fluent written and verbal English skills.
