As a Piping / Senior Piping Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of an exiting project.
Job Description
Execute piping activities in accordance with project specifications and standards
Collaborate closely with other disciplines to achieve optimal solutions
Utilize Aveva Everything 3D (E3D), EQP, and Draft modeling for general piping layout
Demonstrate a strong focus on material handling, access/maintenance, and working environment considerations in physical layout and piping design
Conduct independent piping studies and contribute to design reviews
Maintain flexibility in assigned tasks and effectively communicate ideas and progress in design reviews
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background
Minimum 8 years of EPC new build experience in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
Proficiency in layout and design based on NorSok standards
Multidisciplinary understanding and proactive approach to design processes
Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural teams and participate actively in design reviews
Strong commitment to project deadlines and quality requirements, with a systematic and accurate work style
Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Norwegian language is a plus
