Are you our next Piping & Layout Field Engineer?

Description about task and responsibilities :

  • Ensure construction activities within piping/layout are planned, qualified, executed and documented per contract specifications
  • Maintain strong focus on cost-efficient construction
  • Follow up contractors during the construction phase to ensure delivery according to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Act as Company’s representative on site for all piping/layout engineering and construction matters
  • Report to both the Construction organization and the Piping & Layout Lead Engineer
  • Promote HSE culture; act proactively as a Safety Ambassador
  • Monitor and coordinate construction execution, ensuring alignment with project requirements
  • Participate in quality control, execution, and completion of the work
  • Supervise and follow up on contractors' fabrication activities, including shop engineering
  • Ensure focus on quality, schedule, cost efficiency, and HSE compliance
  • Provide contractors with input and clarifications as needed
  • Ensure contractor personnel qualifications meet project standards
  • Supervise site inspectors within your discipline
  • Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Review and verify selected drawings and documents from contractors
  • Ensure proper preservation and protection of systems and equipment
  • Ensure fabrication documentation and records are issued correctly
  • Report deviations and raise issues to the Construction Lead
  • Support completion and handover to commissioning
  • Participate in system/area punch out as required
  • Handle and close site queries (SQs), technical queries (TQs), and punch items
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue and resolve interface issues
  • Take part in engineering and construction reviews
  • Conduct audits and verifications for constructability and system handover
  • Ensure experience transfer from similar projects and internal networks

Qualification Requirements

Education:
  • MSc or BSc in a relevant technical field
Experience:
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience depending on the role
Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of piping and layout engineering
  • Experience across project phases: feasibility, concept, and detail engineering
  • Fabrication and installation experience is an advantage
Other Skills:
  • Multidisciplinary and interface understanding
  • Strong focus on SSU (Safety, Security, and Sustainability)
  • Commercial mindset (“know your numbers”)
  • Team-oriented attitude
