Engineer Smarter Code – Empower Global Healthcare
Software Engineer – Cross-Platform Components (.NET MAUI / C#)
Stavanger | Full-time | Application deadline: August 6th, 2025
At MDE Shift, we’ve been entrusted with the search for a developer to join one of Norway’s most meaningful tech environments – Laerdal Medical.
Laerdal is a global leader in healthcare education and resuscitation training, with an ambitious goal of helping save one million more lives every year by 2030. Their solutions are used by hospitals, educational institutions, and first aid organizations around the world – and they collaborate with renowned partners such as the American Heart Association, the British Heart Foundation, and UEFA.
They are now looking for an experienced developer to help build the foundation of their digital platform – by developing reusable and robust components for use across internal teams.
About the Role
You’ll join the Software Components team – a group responsible for building shared components and SDKs used by developers throughout Laerdal.
The team’s mission is to avoid redundant work, drive standardization, and make it easier for other teams to deliver high-quality solutions faster.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean, reusable code – and who values enabling fellow developers through smart and well-structured technical solutions.
You’ll work closely with technologists in a cross-functional and international environment.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining reusable components and SDKs
- Ensuring scalability, stability, security, and clear documentation
- Writing testable and readable code in C# (.NET MAUI)
- Contributing to architecture, structure, and development best practices
- Automating builds and deployments using CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Exploring and staying current with relevant technologies such as .NET 8+, BLE, and EventHub
Who are you?
