Job Description
- Join Business Services Procurement as a Contract Lead (Procurement Professional)
- Collaborate with business lines to secure the best commercial agreements
- Set strategic direction and capitalize on market opportunities
- Business Services Procurement is a vital, integrated part of the client’s operations
- Handle high-value, high-risk agreements of technical and commercial importance
- Two subcategories within Business Services Procurement:
- Facility Management & Communication:
- Covers onshore/offshore facility services, corporate communication & events, security, and health/wellbeing/environment (HWE)
- People & Organisation:
- Covers learning & development, global mobility, recruitment, travel, HR operations, and human rights
- As a Contract Lead, you will have the legal mandate to commit the client to suppliers and be responsible for:
- Contract Establishment:
- Lead procurement processes: strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation
- Act as commercial lead in tender processes
- Implement and operationalize new agreements (frame & single-source)
- Contract Management:
- Shape the global contract portfolio through strategic collaboration with business lines and suppliers
- Drive improvements in contract relationships to maximize value for the client
- Ensure contract compliance and manage risk (safety, security, sustainability, financial, commercial, local requirements)
- Support optimal use of agreements and handle operational procurement tasks
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Facilitate strategic workshops and risk assessments
- Manage stakeholders and align closely with business units
- Work in a global team across Stavanger, Bergen, the UK, US, Brazil, and more
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of supply chain and business operations
- Strategic mindset with proven ability to achieve commercial results
- High personal and professional integrity
- Proactive, self-driven, and passionate about delivering results
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
