Step into a key role where you'll collaborate closely with our Client's project team to lead the coordination and execution of mechanical packages from design through to construction across multiple facilities. You'll be the vital link between internal customers and the engineering team, driving the delivery of top-tier test solutions that power operations at an industry-leading level.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's would be desirable);
- Minimum 10 years of design engineering experience in industrial project;
- Able to identify key FEED-stage engineering deliverables and inter-discipline interfaces;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in managing remote teams using Autodesk Cloud and MS Teams; and
- Strong managerial skills, eager to learn, and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate subcontractor and vendor designs into mechanical processes.
- Align design drawings with project/site requirements; review and resolve technical queries.
- Oversee shop drawing progress and prepare technical submissions (datasheets, material/equipment lists).
- Collaborate in cross-functional meetings; review and integrate consultant/vendor design data.
- Lead and check designs, estimates, and participate in design reviews and HAZOP studies.
- Provide technical input from design to commissioning while ensuring compliance with standards.
- Support project timelines through effective collaboration and engineering management.
