Join Our Client's Team as a Commissioning ICT/SAS Engineer!
We’re seeking an experienced professional to take a leading role in commissioning ICT/SAS systems for high-level projects. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex modification projects and FPSO redeployments, collaborating with global teams to ensure seamless integration, compliance, and operational excellence.
Requirements and Skills:
- Oversee ICT/SAS commissioning activities, ensuring design solutions, documentation, and engineering activities meet quality, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all commissioning and start-up information is provided by contractors, including data for PIMS (system/sub-system definitions, boundaries, procedures).
- Review FAT/SAT and vendor commissioning procedures; participate in relevant tests and inspections worldwide.
- Act as system responsible engineer for ICT/SAS, ensuring cooperation between base organization, project team, and contractors.
- Work with operations, compliance, and verification leads to define and execute ICT/SAS compliance activities.
- Review contractor deliverables, ensuring compatibility between existing and new vessel systems.
- Oversee development of ICT/SAS system documentation and work packs; participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, and safety studies.
- Address Certifying Authority comments and resolve issues.
- Monitor contractor progress, report delays or design gaps, and ensure corrective actions.
- Collaborate with FEED management team and other disciplines; request additional discipline support when required.
Personal qualities that are particularly valued:
- Master’s degree or higher in ICT;
- 15+ years’ relevant ICT/SAS commissioning experience (SAS engineering background a plus);
- Experience in modification projects and/or FPSO redeployment;
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in multi-discipline teams;
- Middle East/Southeast Asia shipyard experience preferred;
- Diplomatic, assertive, organized, systematic, and flexible; and
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
