We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to expand our client’s regional presence and drive growth in their service portfolio. This role is primarily focused on engaging potential and existing clients, including shipowners, ship managers, and operators, to secure sales for: Marine engine overhauls, Governor overhauls, Brunvoll thruster overhauls, and Neuver steering gear overhauls. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, approach, and visit shipowners, managers, and operators in the region to promote Client's Services’ repair and overhaul solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers: technical managers, superintendents, procurement teams).
  • Actively promote and secure service jobs for:
    • Marine engine overhauls
    • Governor overhauls
    • Brunvoll thruster overhauls
    • Neuver steering gear overhauls
  • Collaborate with the service coordination team to prepare tailored quotations and proposals.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the Client's Services at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
  • Provide feedback to management on market demand, client requirements, and opportunities for service improvement.


Personal qualities that are particularly valued:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales or business development, preferably within the maritime or industrial services sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of marine engines, thrusters, steering gear, and governors.
  • Demonstrated track record of securing service contracts and expanding client portfolios.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and basic business reporting.
