We are looking Subsea System Engineer Specialist

Job Description

• Provide onshore operational subsea competence in connection with Operations Readiness (OR) activities for client.
• Interface with Project and OR delivery areas; own the subsea Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Philosophy.
• Act as Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for transition planning and startup by interfacing with the Client Operator.
• Prepare completion requirements for subsea facilities, wells, and topside-installed subsea equipment.
• Develop strategy for commissioning all subsea and topside equipment, ensuring subsea–topsides systems integration.
• Follow up with vendors and contractors on equipment readiness, documentation, and FAT/SIT/SAT interface.
• Prepare operating procedures and bridging documentation.
• Support development of maintenance and integrity programs, including condition monitoring.
• Provide engineering support for subsea operations (IMR campaigns, interventions, integrity follow-up).
• Support ProCoSys / MIPS updates, punch list clearance, and documentation management.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Marine, Ocean, Subsea, or equivalent subsea background.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Subsea Production Systems, preferably within the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), covering both project and operational phases.
• Strong knowledge of subsea trees, manifolds, control systems, umbilicals, and workover systems.
• Familiarity with NCS standards, including NORSOK, DNV, and PSA requirements.
• Proficient in ProCoSys (or equivalent) and vendor document review systems.
• Strong team player with proven collaboration and communication skills.

Duration: Start up in November 2025, engagement period for 1 year (extension might apply)
