We are looking for a Marine Technology Engineer
Job Description
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Follow up on technical integrity
- Deliver integrity status reports and propose corrective/mitigating measures in relevant systems
- Perform technical condition and safety verifications of maritime systems
- Establish and continuously improve maintenance programs
- Update system and operational documentation
- Provide technical support to projects
- Conduct risk assessments
- Follow up on offshore installations and travel offshore when required
Qualification Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher, preferably within offshore, platform, or marine technology
- Experience with offshore maritime and mooring systems
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and relevant national/international standards for marine systems
- Familiar with rules and requirements such as:
NORSOK standards
Client's technical requirement
Governing documentation - Fluent in Norwegian and English
- Proficient in tools and methods for analytical work within marine systems
- Strong focus on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
- Collaborative and dynamic, with strong team skills
- Ability to understand and manage risk
- Analytical and structured approach
Applicable work location; Stjørdal, Bergen, Stavanger and Harstad
Duration: 30.11.2025-30.08.2026
