we are looking for a Senior Engineer within Automation
Job Description
- Responsible for SAS system design and integration
- Participate in fire and gas safety reviews
- System design of process, utility, and electrical systems (interfaces, FS, SCD, and HMI input)
- Follow up system design for equipment packages and electrical automation systems
- Design solutions according to client requirements
- Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation; participate in test activities and FAT
- Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for project progress is identified and communicated
- Interface with other disciplines, suppliers, and the client
- Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
Qualification Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in automation or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in automation engineering for projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
- Good communication skills
- Cooperative working attitude
- Multidisciplinary understanding
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Systematic and accurate working style
- High commitment to deadlines and quality requirements
- Proactive approach, seeking advice and sharing own experience
- FSE, high- and low-voltage, including practical first aid
- Basic EX course (6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom-based)
