Senior Project Engineer – Control Systems
Job Description
- Planning and execution of engineering activities within automation projects, including HW/SW design, implementation, testing, and commissioning
- Control system setup and configuration across onshore and offshore installations
- Programming of controllers and HMI on ABB control systems
- Participation in modification projects and control system upgrades within the Oil & Gas segment
- On-site implementation, testing, and commissioning as required
- Use of technologies such as 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, Harmony/Symphony+ and Melody
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams within ABB’s automation department
- Travelling must be expected
Qualification Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field such as automation, cybernetics, IT, process control, or similar
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from the Norwegian energy industry
- Strong computer and network skills
- Relevant certified apprenticeship is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written (Norwegian is an advantage)
