Automation – OT / Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description

• Ensure that large-scale network infrastructure is designed and delivered in accordance with Network Specifications and Cyber Security Specifications in a major offshore brownfield study.
• Define design of network infrastructure and ensure compliance with customer specifications to protect OT systems from cyber threats, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, access controls, and network segmentation.
• Participate in FAT testing and verification of configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and virtual environments.
• Support suppliers and vendors in completing Self-Assessment Templates.
• Perform risk assessments of supplier packages and systems based on IEC 62443 Cyber Security Standard.
• Handle interfaces with other disciplines, suppliers, contractors, and client.
• Facilitate and lead RVA (Risk Vulnerability Analysis) workshops for operational technology systems to identify security weaknesses and potential threats.

Qualification Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operational Technology (OT) security, with strong involvement in engineering, design, configuration, testing, and support of large network infrastructures.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with network design and/or cyber security, preferably within oil & gas EPC projects or industrial control systems.
• Solid understanding of ICS, SCADA systems, and other OT technologies.
• Experience with design and testing of communication networks and protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, IEC 61850, TCP/IP, Ethernet, and OPC UA.
• Experience implementing the Purdue Model and the NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF).
• Experience with IEC 62443 and client technical requirements TR 1658, including Self-Assessment Templates.

• Required certificates: EX – Basic EX course; FSE – High and low voltage with first aid.
  
  Duration: 2-year assignment from start date

  Location: Stavanger Forus – on-site
