We are looking for a Technical Safety/Senior Engineer
Job Description
- Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects
- Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
- Active Fire Protection (AFP)
- Area Classification and Ignition Source Control
- Fire and Gas Detection
- Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER)
- Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
- Definition of fluid groups (PED)
- Working Environment Engineering
- Environmental Care Engineering
- Interdisciplinary coordination, checks, IDC, and verifications
- Perform work tasks according to the company's and the client's governing documentation
- Provide concise input regarding cost and planning of safety-related project activities
- Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities (e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews)
- Follow-up of client, vendors and third parties
Qualification Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technical Safety or related disciplines
- Relevant work experience may compensate for formal education
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway
- Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO and NORSOK standards
- High degree of self-learning capability
- Excellent Norwegian and English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication abilities
