Subsea Control Systems Engineer

Job Description

  • Deliver operational support and technical maintenance for subsea control systems across multiple assets.
  • Act as the discipline contact for assigned assets, providing guidance and solutions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including subsea structures, manifolds, valves, process, automation and asset contacts.
  • Participate in integrity assessments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives for subsea equipment within subsea controls.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality operational support and maintenance tasks for subsea control systems.
  • Provide technical recommendations and solutions for equipment reliability and integrity issues.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with asset organizations.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
  • Work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment focused on operational excellence and safe, efficient asset operations.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (preferably subsea, automation, electrical, or instrumentation).
  • Experience in subsea control systems and subsea umbilicals.
  • Experience within operations, technical integrity, and maintenance tasks.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and communication abilities.
  • Experience with operational support for subsea assets and familiarity with offshore industry standards.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Norwegian language skills are beneficial.
