Job Description

Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to make a significant impact within our ambitious business strategy? As an Environmental Advisor at our Client, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's drilling and development activities in the coming years. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental management, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations

 

  •  Responsible for follow-up of relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities 
  • Contribute to relevant risk- and chemical assessments
  •  Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts
  •  Support in government correspondence
  •  Provide consulting in energy management and emission reduction
  •  Responsible for internal/external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters
  •  Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners

     

Qualification Requirements

  • Requires relevant higher university degree 
  • Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience 
  • Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards 
  • Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments
  • The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, Clients  needs and general business conditions 
  • Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
