We are looking for X2 Telecom Senior/Principal engineers

Job Description

• Detailed design of telecom tasks.
• Participate in studies.
• Estimate telecom tasks.
• Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
• Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
• Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
• Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
• Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
• Perform as-built.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation.
• Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
• Strong experience in engineering design.
• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (project/project).
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems, network infrastructure, and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry.
• Offshore certificate with helicopter evacuation training.
• Health certificate.
• Basic EX course – minimum 6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours in classroom.
• FSE high and low voltage with practical first aid.
  
  Duration: 2 years
