Experienced Procurement Specialist Wanted

Job Description

• Follow up procurement packages
• Develop and implement procurement strategies with focus on cost reduction and value creation
• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions
• Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations
• Issue purchase orders
• Monitor and ensure delivery according to agreed timeframe, cost, and quality
• Manage variation handling
• Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing
• Ensure all activities comply with client guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
• Continuously contribute to improvements that reduce risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration

Qualification Requirements

• Commercially aware with strong business understanding
• Professional and independent team player
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• Flexible and adaptable to changes
• Positive attitude with strong collaboration skills
• Structured and efficient way of working, following applicable guidelines and procedures
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• High degree of data discipline is preferred
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree within Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or similar

• Minimum 3 years of experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas
