About the Role

As General Manager – Philippines, you will be accountable for the overall business performance, leading the commercial agenda and delivering sustainable, profitable growth. You will guide the country organization in line with the customer's strategy, strengthening market position through customer-centric solutions, strong distributor partnerships, and high-performing teams.

You will lead the Sales, Distribution, Application Engineering, and Customer Service organizations, while working closely with regional and global stakeholders to deliver on strategic priorities.


What You'll Do


Drive Business Performance & Strategy

  • Lead the Philippines business with full accountability for commercial performance and growth.
  • Develop and execute country strategies aligned with regional and global direction.
  • Deliver on revenue, profitability, and market share objectives through value-based selling and solution-driven approaches.

Strengthen Customer & Market Impact

  • Expand presence across key industries by building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify growth opportunities and translate market insights into actionable business plans.
  • Position the customer as a trusted partner delivering reliability, sustainability, and performance improvements.

Distributor & Channel Excellence

  • Build and develop high-performing distributor partnerships across the Philippines.
  • Strengthen distributor capabilities to enhance customer reach, service quality, and market penetration.
  • Identify and unlock new channel opportunities to accelerate growth.

P&L Ownership

  • Own and manage the country P&L with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Monitor performance metrics, ensuring effective execution and corrective actions when needed.
  • Balance short-term results with long-term value creation.

Leadership & People Development

  • Inspire, lead, and develop a diverse team across commercial, segment, and engineering functions.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Enable a high-performance environment where people thrive, innovate, and deliver results.

Collaboration Across the Organization

  • Partner with regional and global teams to leverage capabilities, expertise, and offerings.
  • Ensure alignment with processes, standards, and values.

Required Qualifications & Skills


Your Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience with a proven track record in leading commercial or sales organizations within industrial, manufacturing, or engineering-related sectors.
  • Strong experience working with distributors and channel networks.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering business growth and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Solid financial acumen with exposure to P&L management and business planning.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational performance.
