Operator – Response & Support Center (24/7 Operations)

  • Act as the primary point of contact for notifications of emergency situations
  • Receive and respond to reports of serious incidents requiring emergency response support
  • Ensure timely notification and mobilization in accordance with established emergency response plans
  • Provide remote support to employees during business travel, including follow-up of Journey Management Plans (JMP) and Travel Communication Plans
  • Conduct real-time threat monitoring using open-source intelligence (OSINT)
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate information to support stakeholders in understanding and mitigating threats and risks
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and actionable reports based on collected intelligence
  • Maintain situational awareness of the global threat landscape and proactively communicate relevant developments
  • Continuously monitor and assess evolving security threats
  • Support Personnel on Board (POB) accounting during incidents and business travel to high-threat locations
  • Monitor, respond to, and execute tasks within the client's corporate crisis management system
  • Coordinate employee notifications and mass communication during serious incidents
  • Collaborate with the Petroleum Industry Security Alert System (PISAS) when required

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally within Risk Management, Security, Emergency Management, or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience within operations, security, emergency response, military, or intelligence (OSINT)
  • Good understanding of security and emergency preparedness
  • Strong IT and digital skills
  • Experience with CIM or similar crisis management tools is considered an advantage
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
  • Knowledge of the client's national and international operations is an advantage
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in demanding emergency situations
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and an excellent communicator
