Job Description
- Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects
- Passive Fire Protection, PFP
- Active Fire Protection, AFP
- Area Classification and Ignition Source Control
- Fire and Gas Detection
- Escape, Evacuation and Rescue, EER
- Safety Integrity Level, SIL
- Definition of fluid groups, PED
- Working Environment Engineering
- Environmental Care Engineering
- Interdisciplinary coordination, checks, IDC, and verifications.
- Perform work tasks according to the company's and the clients governing documentation.
- Give concise input regarding cost and plan activities for safety aspects of the project.
- Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews.
- Follow-up of client, vendors and 3rd Parties.
- Support and follow-up of engineers.
- Work actively for a good professional and social environment in the group.
- Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and experience transfer.
Qualification Requirements
- Master/Bachelor degree in technical safety or other related disciplines. Relevant work experience can compensate for educational level.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway.
Experience should give capability of working independently on the V&M projects while collaborating effectively with stakeholders - Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.
- Ability to show a high degree of self-learning skills.
- Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills.
- Good communication capabilities.
- Awareness of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.
