Lead Completion Engineer

Job Description

• Maintain an overview of the completion team’s workload and allocate tasks.
• Develop and follow up project plans within the drilling and wells team, including drilling schedules, key milestones and deadlines for long lead items.
• Lead completion design to meet well objectives and comply with applicable regulations and Client`s management system.
• Coordinate with the customer and other departments during planning and execution to establish a shared understanding of tasks and priorities.
• Investigate equipment failures and performance issues, assess their cost impact, recommend corrective measures and share lessons learned.
• Follow up and perform QA/QC of suppliers’ services, studies and equipment deliveries against contractual requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations as a subject matter expert.

Qualification Requirements

• At least 15 years of relevant experience with operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• In-depth knowledge of completion engineering, with broad technical expertise and a strong understanding of well concepts.
• A master’s degree in petroleum engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
  
  Duration: 1 year with posibility for extention
