Document Controller – Keep Project Documentation on Track in Stavanger

Job Description

  • Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with department plans and procedures.
  • Manage documents for an individual project or contract.
  • Ensure that colleagues understand document control routines and tasks across disciplines.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries handled by document control.
  • Establish an electronic archive in the internal document control tool.
  • Work with the client’s electronic document systems.
  • Handle engineering and supplier documentation.
  • Prepare internal and external reports on technical documentation.
  • Work location: Forus, Stavanger.
  • Planned assignment period: 17 September 2026–31 December 2027.
  • Workload: 100%, five-day working week.

Qualification Requirements

  • 10–12 years of experience with offshore or onshore projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, procedures and requirements.
  • Knowledge of modifications to offshore or onshore installations in operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A systematic and accurate approach, with a strong commitment to deadlines and quality requirements.
  • A solution-oriented, collaborative approach and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Candidates are expected to provide relevant information during the hiring process and may be asked about affiliations with high-risk countries for a security assessment.
