Experienced Geohazard Specialist for Site Survey Data Interpretation

Job Description

  • Interpret site survey data in connection with geohazard assessments for a specific project.
  • Perform geohazard analysis and gas classification based on site survey data.
  • Conduct work in accordance with relevant IOGP guidelines for drilling hazard site surveys, including the requirements outlined in Chapter 6.
  • Prepare and deliver interpretation reports in accordance with IOGP guidelines.
  • Work independently using Kingdom interpretation software.
  • Collaborate closely with the Client's site survey team throughout the assignment.
  • Ensure high-quality technical interpretation and reporting to support safe and effective project execution.
  • The assignment is onshore and may be performed from the Client's office in either Oslo or Stavanger/Sandnes.

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience with interpretation of site survey data.
  • Strong competence within geohazard analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to work independently with Kingdom interpretation software.
  • Experience with reporting interpretation results in accordance with Chapter 6.2 of the IOGP guidelines.
  • Relevant experience from site surveys, subsurface/geophysical interpretation or related disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must be available to work with the Client's site survey team from either the Oslo or Stavanger/Sandnes office for the duration of the assignment.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
