We are looking for a hands-on Inspection Assistant in Tananger

Job Description

  • Work as part of the inspection team to prepare tubular equipment for inspection.
  • Assist inspectors throughout the inspection process.
  • Prepare inspection areas, tools and equipment for daily operations.
  • Support inspection activities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform cleaning and preparation tasks related to inspection work.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
  • Assist with basic data entry, documentation and record keeping when required.
  • Follow HSE, quality and operational procedures.
  • Participate in training and learn basic inspection principles and techniques.
  • Communicate safety or quality concerns to the team.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.

Qualification Requirements

  • Hardworking, reliable and respectful.
  • Practical and comfortable with hands-on and physically demanding work.
  • Some technical knowledge or technical understanding is preferred.
  • Punctual, responsible and able to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to contribute where needed.
  • Safety-conscious and quality-minded.
  • Motivated to learn and develop within inspection and NDT.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Norwegian language skills are an advantage, but not required.
  • Previous experience from industrial, workshop, manufacturing, inspection or similar practical work is an advantage, but not a requirement.
