Project Manager – Long-Term Assignment in Germany (Onsite)
Job Description
- Manage assigned project(s) ensuring delivery on time, on budget, with required quality and in compliance with HSE standards. Provide input to tenders and contribute to other management tasks as needed.
- Overall management of project(s) in line with contract and internal requirements (QHSER, cost, schedule, quality)
- Lead and coordinate a geographically spread project team
- Ensure effective use of tools, processes, and resources for project execution
- Support tender processes and risk assessments when required
- Organize project execution to optimize cooperation, resource use, and risk management
- Responsible for subcontractor agreements and reporting to client and steering committee
- Provide regular status updates covering planning, progress, finance, HSE, risks, and personnel
- Contribute to resource planning and senior management reporting
Qualification Requirements
- University degree MSc, BSc - or equivalent competence
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry and operational EPCI experience
- Proven project management skills and experience
- Economical capacity, anticipate and offset financial risks
- Commercial abilities, anticipate and offset legal risks
- Ability to understand Clients and competence to deflect and/or adjust approaches based on client personality and cultural expectations
- Ability to reduce friction and/or lead improvement plans related to any internal coordination and/or collaboration deficiencies (teams, sites, functions)
- Fluent English, oral and written – proven communication skills
Duration: 12 months
