The Commissioning Project Engineer, reporting to the Commissioning Manager, will be an integral part of the ROS Commissioning Team. The role involves working collaboratively within the project organization, ensuring alignment with established systems, procedures, and methods to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements and Skills:
- Ensure that all assigned activities are carried out in compliance with laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and project requirements, while safeguarding the health and safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment.
- Work under the supervision of the Commissioning Manager and provide support across all aspects of project execution.
- Monitor and track scheduled vs. actual commissioning progress across all disciplines.
- Follow up with vendors in advance to confirm readiness as per the project schedule, ensuring smooth execution.
- Report commissioning status on a regular basis.
- Enhance reporting formats by developing user-friendly dashboards.
- Prepare and issue weekly action status reports, and follow up to ensure timely closure of actions.
- Support effective information and communication flow between the Commissioning Manager and the wider project organization.
- Develop statistical analyses based on commissioning inputs to ensure accurate monitoring of progress.
- Provide support and assistance as required by the direct manager.
Personal qualities that are particularly valued:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Oil & Gas industry preferred).
- Strong ability to manage multiple detailed tasks, set priorities, and organize work to meet project deadlines.
- Dynamic and proactive, with a hands-on approach, meticulous work style, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Well-organized and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate others and communicate effectively across teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
