Job Description
- As the Planning Manager/Lead in the project, you'll be at the forefront of strategic planning, delivering decision-making insights and streamlined schedules for stakeholders. Collaborate with your team and the Project Management Team to create predictable, cost-effective plans. Reporting to the Business Manager in the project and VP of Operations and Project Management in the Offshore Wind Team, you'll drive success in dynamic environments.
- Leads and manages the planning group.
- Translates the plan and schedule strategy into the execution plan with all schedule owners.
- Ensures that all plans are aligned with the contract and administrative requirements, including key interfaces with partners, sub-contractors, suppliers, and third parties.
- Proactively controls, monitors, analyses, and reports the performance of the work to all relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively communicates trends, critical path analyses, and consequences of scope changes, variations, risks, and opportunities to key internal and external stakeholders.
- This role formally reports to the Business Manager; however, is expected to collaborate across the project and enable all project stakeholders to deliver on their scheduled scope.
Qualification Requirements
- Master’s degree in business administration or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- +10 years’ experience in leading planning teams on international projects.
- +10 years of proven experience with strategic planning, providing planning insights for decision-making, and simplifying schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
- Offshore or construction experience is a plus.
- Product planning and scheduling experience for system solutions is a plus
- Excellent communication, analytical, and technical skills.
- Proven experience in leading people through change and ensuring schedule ownership with key stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex changes into predictable outcomes.
- Work Location: Preferred locations are Oslo, Haugesund, Bergen and Stavanger.
