we are looking for a Procurement Logistic Responsible

Job Description

• Leading service company in oil, gas, and offshore wind industries.
• Provides optimal and innovative solutions in engineering, construction, modifications, and maintenance throughout the project life cycle.
• Expanding team due to increasing demand for services; position located in Bergen.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and Construction to ensure smooth logistical operations.
• Material Administration & Start-up Activities:
• Identify project logistics needs and establish strategies.
• Configure SAP, create procurement templates, coordinate warehouse activities.
• Manage subcontractors, reporting routines, freight forwarding, customs, and transportation costs.
• Free Issue Materials Coordination
• Ensure controlled handling of materials from delivery to utilization.
• Develop responsibility matrix for material release.
• Finalize agreements with freight forwarders.
• Track material balances by type and task to maintain workflow according to plan.
• Conduct material reconciliation at procurement package and project levels.
• Identify and recommend surplus handling strategies.
• Ensure approval by material owners (e.g., Customers or Project Managers).
• Participate in project closure activities, including clearing logistic purchase orders, stock transfer orders, requisitions, stock balances, and reservations.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Relevant experience and commitment may compensate for formal education
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Flexible, positive, and collaborative mindset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Candidates must openly provide all relevant information during the hiring process.
• Information on affiliation to high-risk countries may be requested for security assessment.
