Senior Marine Structural Engineer (Offshore Wind)
Job Description
- Follow up the contractor topside and jacket structural design and T&I
- Follow up the contractors’ automation structural design for topside and jacket.
- Follow up contractors T&I scope and contract towards marine warranty surveyor.
- Secure a robust design
- Secure schedule
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in structural or marine disciplines
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- At least 5 years’ experience with substation projects
- Experience with marine operations, including load outs, heavy transport, and heavy lift activities
- Willingness to travel to client and contractor offices, as well as offshore sites during construction when required
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee and guide contractors
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple project packages
- Proactive problem solver and team player, with a strong focus on delivering high quality outcomes
Start date: as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months with options for extensions
Work location: Stavanger or Oslo or Haugesund
