we are looking for a Senior Engineer within Automation

Job Description

• Responsible for SAS system design and integration
• Participate in fire and gas safety reviews
• System design of process, utility, and electrical systems (interfaces, FS, SCD, and HMI input)
• Follow up system design for equipment packages and electrical automation systems
• Design solutions according to client requirements
• Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation; participate in test activities and FAT
• Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for project progress is identified and communicated
• Interface with other disciplines, suppliers, and the client
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers

Qualification Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in automation or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in automation engineering for projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Good communication skills
• Cooperative working attitude
• Multidisciplinary understanding
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Systematic and accurate working style
• High commitment to deadlines and quality requirements
• Proactive approach, seeking advice and sharing own experience
• FSE, high- and low-voltage, including practical first aid
• Basic EX course (6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom-based)
