Job Description

• Functional Safety Engineering (FSA)
• Safety integrity level (SIL)
• Area classification
• Fire and Gas (F&G) / Emergency shut down (ESD)
• Escape routes and evacuation means
• Passive and active fire protection (PFP)
• Working environment (WHERA, chemical risk analysis, Human factors)
• External environment (BAT assessment, environmental budget, energy demand, air emissions, discharge to sea, chemical usage)

Qualification Requirements

• Master or Bachelor degree within relevant topics
• Work experience within the Oil & Gas industry on the NCS
• Experience with FEED and early-phase study projects (preferred)
• Experience and knowledge of offshore process and process safety design
• Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and WHERA

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g. NORSOK, PTIL, ISO, PSA, API standards)

   

• Good communication skills, both oral and written, in Norwegian and English
• A cooperative working attitude
• Systematic and accurate working approach
• High commitment to deadlines and quality requirements
• Strong self-learning abilities

Duration: 02.02.2026 - 31.01.2028
