Technical safety discipline lead or discipline responsible engineer

Job Description

• Two open positions are available within the discipline: two roles as Discipline Lead and two roles as Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE).
• Work as a Technical Safety discipline lead or discipline responsible engineer.
• Develop safety solutions and strategies to the required level of detail.
• Perform and follow up area classification, escape and evacuation.
• Handle passive fire protection (PFP) and active fire protection (AFP).
• Work with Fire & Gas systems, ESD and functional safety.
• Act as Technical Safety Lead with responsibility for following up the discipline in the project.
• Ensure that work is performed according to relevant instructions, procedures and contractual requirements.
• Be responsible for following up the project schedule.

Qualification Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably within mechanical or safety engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with the listed technical safety tasks.
• Detailed knowledge of national regulations and standards such as TR and NORSOK.
• Ability to work independently and thoroughly, as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Multidisciplinary understanding.
• Strong communication skills and high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements.
• Proactive approach, seeking and sharing information across disciplines.
• Ability to communicate well in English, both orally and in writing.
