Contract Specialist - Aviation & Logistics Procurement

Job Description

The category portfolio mainly consists of crew change and search and rescue helicopter contracts on the NCS, but we are also responsible for airborne drones for logistics and fixed wing charter flights. 

  •  Establish new enquiries including evaluation
  • negotiation and implementation of new agreements 
  • Manage agreements including user support and communication and negotiation with the suppliers
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes for new agreements in line with business needs and category strategy
  • Establish and manage enquiries, including RFI issuance, bidder lists, evaluation procedures, bid clarifications, and negotiations
  • Ensure safety, security, and sustainability in procurement activities
  • Understand relevant markets and translate insights into effective procurement strategies
  • Award agreements with required partner approvals and ensure structured handover to the management phase with clear strategic objectives
  • Manage agreement start-up activities, including system implementation (Plan-to-Pay), guarantees, and contract start-up meetings
  • Drive performance and relationship management with suppliers, including cost analysis, stakeholder management, and continuous improvements
  • Handle changes and contractual matters such as variation orders, amendments, options, rate adjustments, force majeure, cancellations, and terminations
  • Perform contract close-out activities, including delivery acceptance, final accounts, and formal contract closure

Qualification Requirements

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of contract follow-up and client regulations (ARIS), or the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and tools
  • Flexibility regarding work tasks and responsibilities
  • Proficiency in English and Norwegian

    Location: Bergen or Stavanger
