HVAC Field Engineer - Onshore Assignment

Job Description

  • Phased development of the prosjekt, Albatross and Askeladden gas condensate fields
  • Scope includes onshore compression and CO₂ reduction through full electrification of Hammerfest LNG
  • Follow-up of HVAC equipment delivered to the manufacturing location
  • Ensure contractor deliveries align with scope of work, budget, and schedule
  • Provide contractors with input and clarifications, and maintain necessary communication
  • Follow-up on preparation and execution of installation and removal of temporary HVAC systems
  • Follow-up on installation of permanent new HVAC systems
  • Follow-up on modification of existing HVAC systems
  • Support and follow up contractors regarding construction-related issues
  • Ensure necessary dialogue with interface disciplines and contribute to problem-solving
  • Participate in development of commissioning procedures for HVAC systems
  • Perform testing and commissioning of temporary, new, and modified HVAC systems
  • Check installed equipment, follow up punch lists, and ensure system handover to commissioning and operations

Qualification Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in HVAC or process technology (extensive HVAC experience from oil and gas projects may compensate for lack of formal education)
  • Experience from similar positions
  • Strong focus on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
  • Experience with ProCoSys, Fusion, STID, and Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
  • Loyal, reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
  • EITA – Discipline Professional Requirements with multidisciplinary understanding
  • Language requirements: English and Norwegian
  • Preferred category: 3 – Principal Professional
