Job Description

  • Physical presence is required at the client’s Bergen office. Working from other locations is not relevant.
  • Follow-up of procurement packages
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation
  • Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions
  • Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
  • Perform commercial evaluations of quotations
  • Issue purchase orders
  • Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality
  • Manage variation handling
  • Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing
  • Ensure all activities comply with client’s guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
  • Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration

Qualification Requirements

  • You are commercially aware
  • You are professional and an independent team player
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
  • You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes
  • You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills
  • You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage
  • A high degree of data discipline is preferred
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas
  • Fluency in Norwegian, both written and oral

     

     

    Candidates may be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment
