We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer in Automation to join ABB’s office in Fornebu. As a project engineer at ABB, you will typically work in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions to our customers.
Job Description
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teams
- Plan, design, program, test, and commission projects
- Perform service and follow up on existing customers and installed systems
- Program 800xA controllers and HMIs
- Collaborate with and provide input to the sales organization
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and/or technical vocational education within automation or a related field
- Experience with PLC/DCS programming is an advantage
- Knowledge of communication between HMI systems and PLCs (OPC, Profibus, Modbus, Comli)
- Ability to identify simple and practical solutions to complex problems
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
