Our Client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join a leading EPC organisation in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, supplier and subcontractor management expertise, and hands-on experience working within fast-paced EPC project environments.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven procurement experience within EPC, oil & gas, power, refinery, piping, or industrial projects.
- Strong commercial negotiation, supplier-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working with international suppliers and project procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for major EPC projects within the energy, oil & gas, and power sectors.
- Source, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare RFQs, analyse technical and commercial bids, and lead commercial negotiations.
- Issue and administer purchase orders and subcontracts in line with project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, project, construction, QA/QC, and logistics teams.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, expediting activities, and procurement risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, contractual obligations, and project requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, bid comparisons, cost analyses, and management updates.
