We are looking for a People Advisor with experience in Compensation & Benefits and HR Analytics

Job Description

  • Provide operational and strategic HR advice to managers and employees within recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, organisational changes, and termination of employment.
  • Support managers in workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, and employee-related decisions.
  • Provide guidance on the application and interpretation of internal policies, procedures, Norwegian employment law, and collective agreements.
  • Take ownership of assigned procedures within the management system and ensure they are reviewed, updated, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, ISO standards, and internal governance requirements.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and execute Compensation & Benefits processes, including salary reviews, market benchmarking, job evaluation, incentive schemes, and remuneration governance.
  • Analyse salary structures, compensation data, and market information, and prepare evidence-based recommendations.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyse HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to support management decision-making.
  • Prepare analyses relating to turnover, recruitment, absence, organisational structure, diversity, and compensation.
  • Contribute to local and global initiatives, projects, and system implementations involving analysis, change support, and stakeholder management.
  • Ensure high-quality HR data and support compliance with statutory requirements, audit requirements, and internal controls.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and decision-support materials for management and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, reporting, and ways of working.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within HR advisory, Compensation & Benefits, HR analytics, or related disciplines.
  • Good understanding of Norwegian employment law and HR practices.
  • Experience with salary processes, market benchmarking, and job evaluation.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and decision-support materials.
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid experience with HR systems, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Ability to work independently, systematically, and with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with managers, employees, and professional communities.
  • Commercial awareness, high professional integrity, and sound judgement.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with changing priorities.
  • Strong commitment to quality, health, safety, and the environment.
